Karen's remarkable tenure in the healthcare sector has endowed her with an extensive reservoir of knowledge and expertise, particularly in the fields of public health, medical technology, and healthcare consulting. Her diverse experiences and impactful contributions have shaped her into a highly capable and accomplished professional.

Having recently embarked on an exciting new venture within the organization, shifting from consulting to technology solutions, Karen finds herself at the beginning of a profoundly enriching chapter in her professional journey. As a co-founder and partner, Karen assumes a pivotal role in the organization, where her leadership and strategic vision play a crucial part in driving the company's success.

At DKI Health, she spearheads Operations and a global team of cross-functional leads, working together towards a collective commitment to cultivating groundbreaking solutions. These solutions align harmoniously with DKI Health's overarching vision, which aims to forge a world where good health is not merely attainable, but also accessible and equitable for all individuals. Through her collaborative leadership, Karen inspires and empowers her team to push the boundaries of innovation and foster meaningful change.

Prior to DKI Health, she held positions at IQVIA (Quintiles), Medidata, and the CDC/NIOSH. Complementing her professional accomplishments, she holds an MPH from the University of South Florida and a BA from Boston College.

When Karen is not working, she finds delight in the company of Riley and Gracie, the Chief Executive Dogs. Their presence not only brings joy to Karen but also serves as a reminder of the importance of creating a balanced work-life environment.

DEEPA
DAHAL

With two decades of consulting experience in the life sciences sector, Deepa specializes in commercial strategy, health policy, medical education, and patient advocacy. Her therapeutic areas of expertise include oncology, immunology, infectious and rare diseases. A recognized leader in her field, she has been widely published on various topics, including patient and caregiver perspectives, biologics and biosimilars, anti-microbial resistance, and COVID-19.

Before co-founding DKI Health, Deepa held senior consulting positions at Campbell Alliance (now Syneos) and IQVIA. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Idaho and earned an MBA from the University of New Hampshire.

She is proud to support women in leadership in partnership with the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA), where she served on the Pacific Region Board as the Marketing and Communications COE President. The HBA has honored Deepa with numerous awards, including Marketing and Communications Leadership Award and the Seattle Honored Volunteer Award.

Embracing her intersectional identity as a Nepali-American woman, a child of immigrants, and a global citizen, Deepa brings a unique cultural perspective to her leadership roles. Her experiences growing up in both urban and rural environments have given her a well-rounded understanding of the hardships and challenges different populations face. She is committed to advancing health literacy, equity, and accessibility for all patients, caregivers, and communities.

When Deepa is not working, she can be found exploring her travel dreams in a far-off country, experimenting in the kitchen, or catching up on the latest popular nonfiction books.
